Rodney Lewis

AIA

Principal

Rodney Lewis' passion for architecture was established at a young age, taking him from early success in technical drawings, as an artist, and construction during high school through to being 'the most outstanding graduate award' winner in the 1992 graduating class at the Florida A&M University Architecture School. Working through most of his college career, Rodney learned quickly the tectonics of putting together quality documents for quality buildings. With over 20 years of design experience and experimentation Rodney has developed an innate understanding of building systems and materials. A strong commitment to ease of construction and innovative details has become his trademark. These are the characteristics that Rodney utilizes in his role as firm principal for the production and construction observation efforts of AL+W.
