In Loving Memory of Ian Sommerfeldt | ALW Project Manager + Designer

Words cannot express the profound sadness the ALW family experienced by the loss of this incredibly special member of our team. Ian passed away on December 22, 2018, but will forever remain in our hearts and in our studio. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, his love for our team and his job at ALW, and for the creative passion and positivity that he brought with him every day. Ian displayed incredible work ethic, pride, integrity, and dedication in everything he did. He was admired by all for his extraordinary design skills, his attention to detail, and team leadership. Ian made tremendous contributions to many of our most challenging and notable projects, including the FSU Oglesby Student Union Replacement, Jim Moran Building, Kotler-Coville Glass Pavilion, and so many others. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to all who knew and loved him. Ian, may you rest in peace and always be remembered for the talented designer and true friend that you were to us all.
